A company is looking for a Principal Engineer, Seismic CSA Integration and Oversight.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of seismic design and licensing requirements for advanced nuclear reactor projectsPerform technical reviews and coordinate multi-system analyses related to seismic and structural requirementsEnsure compliance with licensing and code requirements while monitoring subcontractor performance and facilitating technical reviewsRequired QualificationsM.S. degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant field12+ years of experience in civil/structural design, analysis, and probabilistic risk assessmentExperience with new nuclear power plant design projects and risk-informed methodologiesHands-on experience with structural design for external hazards like seismic loadsKnowledge of commercial and nuclear standards, along with experience working with NRC or DOE regulations
