Injective is incubated by Binance and is backed by leading firms such as Jump Crypto, Pantera and Mark Cuban.About the role Injective Labs is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to help design, build, and operate the core infrastructure powering the protocol.This role spans both cloud and bare metal environments, supporting high-performance blockchain systems and low-latency trading workloads. We are looking for someone who can operate at scale, move quickly, and bring strong ownership over critical systems.Responsibilities: Own the reliability, performance, and scalability of Injective's infrastructure across cloud and bare metal environmentsDesign, deploy, and operate production-grade Kubernetes clustersManage application delivery using Helm and ArgoCD (GitOps workflows)Build and maintain infrastructure using Pulumi and AnsibleDeploy, operate, and optimize blockchain nodes and supporting services (validators, indexers, RPC, etc.)Design systems for low latency and high throughput , especially for trading and market data workloadsOperate and scale streaming systems such as Kafka or RedpandaMaintain and improve observability across the stack (metrics, logs, tracing), with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and optionally SignozTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across Kubernetes, networking, and Linux systemsCollaborate closely with engineering teams to support product and protocol developmentIdentify bottlenecks and drive improvements across performance, reliability, and scalabilityParticipate in on-call rotations for mission-critical systemsWho you are: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure / DevOps / Platform Engineering rolesDeep expertise in managing production-quality Kubernetes clusters, with experience in large-scale cluster operation being a significant advantage.Strong hands-on experience with:Helm, ArgoCD, DockerPulumi and/or Ansible ( preferred over Terraform )GCP as a primary cloud , with working knowledge of AWS or AzureExperience managing bare metal infrastructure , including provisioning, networking, and performance tuningProven ability to operate high-performance, large-scale systems , ideally in blockchain or trading environmentsExperience with blockchain systems (Ethereum, Tendermint/Cosmos SDK, or similar)Experience with high-throughput messaging systems (Kafka, Redpanda)Strong understanding of Linux systems and low-level debuggingExperience designing for high availability, fault tolerance, and low latencyFamiliarity with observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry; Signoz is a plus)Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs)Knowledge of advanced security practices, database administration (ie. mongoDB ), and high-throughput message queues.Fluent in EnglishAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentBased in a timezone with significant overlap with US Eastern Time (ET)Nice to Have: Experience operating validators or participating in blockchain networksExperience in latency-sensitive environments (trading, HFT, market making)Experience with production security practicesExperience with databases such as Postgres or MongoDBWhy work with us?
