Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Center Representative to join our team in North Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, as well as accurately registering and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
  • Update patient records with accurate demographic and insurance information
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient patient care
  • Provide information to patients regarding services, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
