Job Function
The Material Handler is responsible for coordinating and executing all logistics activities required to support the movement of Companion Diagnostics (CDx) materials across the clinical supply chain. The role ensures timely,accurate, and compliant delivery of CDx materials to internal and external clinical partners. Key responsibilities include domestic and international shipment preparation, documentation, inventory coordination, and accurate tracking of materials throughout the CDx workflow
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end movement of CDx clinical materials to ensure delivery to the correct destination within required timelines.
- Prepare internal requisitions and create shipping documents for domestic and international shipments, ensuring alignment with CDx program requirements and shipment specifications.
- Coordinate closely with CDx project managers, clinical operations teams, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure shipment readiness and resolve logistics barriers.
- Maintain accurate inventory visibility for CDx clinical materials, including kit allocation, material staging, and order turnaround.
- Execute physical distribution activities, including safe movement and storage of CDx materials from designated locations to shipping points.
- Ensure shipment tracking, documentation accuracy, and timely communication of shipment status to CDx leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Follow established CDx shipment workflows, including chain-of-custody steps, temperature-controlled shipment requirements, and documentation maintenance consistent with CDx standards.
- Support logistics process improvements and standardization efforts for CDx clinical shipments where needed.
Qualifications- Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse coordination, or related functions.
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with international shipping requirements and documentation preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate across CDx and logistics teams.
- Ability to operate material-handling tools (e.g., pallet jacks or forklifts), if required for site operations.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical support environment.
May require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically 1-3 years of relevant experience for entry to this level.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $23.99 - $37.49/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
