We're seeking a Service Technician - Commercial HVAC in Santa Barbara Metro, CA to maintain heating and cooling systems for commercial and educational facilities.

Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, split systems, and air handlers
• Diagnose and repair equipment failures involving compressors, fans, motors, and controls
• Test refrigerant charge, airflow, and temperature control settings for optimal performance
• Replace filters, belts, bearings, and other consumable components during scheduled service
• Respond to service calls to restore heating and cooling operations
• Inspect electrical connections and test capacitors, contactors, and control circuits
• Complete service documentation and communicate findings to clients
• Coordinate with facility staff to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions
• Maintain company vehicle and ensure proper inventory of parts and supplies
Requirements
Must-Haves
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
• EPA Universal refrigerant certification
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Valid California driver's license
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
Nice-to-Haves
• NATE certification in service or installation
• Experience with educational facility HVAC systems
• Knowledge of DDC controls and building automation
• OSHA 10 certification
