The Opportunity:Avantor is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Carpinteria, CA. The Maintenance Technicians install, maintain, and/or repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures, electrical systems and heating and cooling equipment. Work Schedule:1st Shift: M-F, 7 am--3:30 pm, Overtime as needed . nd shift: M-F, 2:00 pm 10:30 pm, Overtime as needed. What were looking for: Education:High School diploma or equivalent degree required. Technical school preferred. Experience:5 years related maintenance experience to include: electrical, welding, motors, rigging, plumbing, pumps, pneumatic, hydraulic and fabrication. Electrical & Controls Automation experience required. Must have motors & controls experience. 3 ph & 1 ph. Additional Qualifications: Familiarity with operation and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to aid in the evaluation of electrical vs other causes.
