Tetra Tech is adding an Environmental Scientist to our DU.S. Air Force team based in California.
Provide EMS Support for USAFE Bases: Manage Environmental Action Plans (EAPs) for up to 11 USAFE installations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completion with all supporting documents. Coordinate with each Base to review latest EMS-EAPs and prevent duplicated efforts.
Review other EMS documentation and records after coordination with installations.
Assist with updating Hazardous Waste Management Plans as needed.
Update and organize the SharePoint site to ensure files are easy to locate; centralize HM and HW folders for efficient searches and storage.
Complete paperwork for currently inactive Equipment Accounts to ensure proper tracking and closure where appropriate.
Create Storage Tank Custodian Training.
Generate pollution prevention opportunity assessments for installations in Germany and the UK.
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards, with solid knowledge of the Final Governing Standards for Germany and the UK.
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness.
Work safely at all times and report health and safety incidents and concerns.
Additional duties as required.

Salary range: $40-$48/hour. Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including education, experience, skills, location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
