Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist to support environmental, health, and safety programs in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This part-time role involves developing and managing compliance programs, conducting inspections, leading safety initiatives, and delivering training to employees and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage EHS programs, including environmental compliance, safety training, and industrial hygiene.
• Conduct inspections, investigations, and root cause analyses to ensure safety standards are met.
• Support injury reduction, sustainability, and behavioral safety initiatives.
• Interpret and apply standards set by OSHA, EPA, and ANSI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a strong safety culture.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in EHS management, with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cal/OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
• CHMM certification preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and safety audits.
  
  

Work Environment

The role is set within a dynamic manufacturing environment where safety and compliance are top priorities. The position is part-time, offering flexibility in hours. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
