We are a dynamic millwork and cabinetry shop based in Ventura, California, operating out of a spacious 12,000-square-foot facility. We craft custom cabinetry, molding, and furniture for upscale residential clients in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Malibu, and Beverly Hills.

About the role:

Clear Millwork is looking for a skilled and driven Project Manager to lead our talented team of carpenters and cabinetmakers. In this role, you'll manage our operations including project timelines, resources and our people. You will also be the face of our organization and be the main point of contact for our clients.This role requires a high level of technical proficiency, including expertise in Excel, Outlook, and other industry standard software, as you'll spend significant time on the computer building timelines, handling logistics, and coordinating schedules.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, an excellent communicator, and skilled at following up with both internal team members and external vendors to keep everything on track. Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules; adjust timelines as needed.
  • Client Relations: Manage client needs and expectations, ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and support our team leadership.
  • Resource Management: Oversee inventory, manage costs, and ensure timely procurement.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments and engage with clients as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in production management within millwork or construction.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • : Experience with production management software and budget management.
