About the Role:

A leading investment firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role is critical in maintaining financial integrity and portfolio data accuracy. Responsibilities include fund administration oversight, financial reporting, compliance, and portfolio data analysis. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in venture capital, private equity, or public accounting to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

Portfolio & Financial Data Management:

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain financial and operational data from portfolio companies
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key financial metrics
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support investment decisions

Fund Accounting & Compliance:

  • Manage fund administrator, including reviewing capital calls, distributions, and reports
  • Oversee fund audits, tax return preparation, and compliance filings (Form ADV, Form PF, Cayman filings)
  • Update cash forecasts and capital planning
  • Support investor relations with fundraising materials and due diligence requests

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of combined public accounting and venture capital/private equity experience
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience
  • Advanced Excel skills; SQL/database knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for the venture capital industry and financial technology
