Manager, Refurbishment

Description:

Peloton is seeking a Manager of Refurbishment Operations to lead a refurbishment team across Peloton's full suite of products, including fitness devices, tablet computers, accessories, and future product introductions. The ideal candidate has supply chain and refurbishment experience, including at least four years of experience in logistics, repair, and/or refurbishment operations.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Lead and grow a team responsible for supporting day to day mechanical refurbishment operations including fitness products, electronics, and accessories, with the goal of producing quality products while minimizing costs.
  • Develop processes to drive continuous improvement within the refurbishment business.
  • Work closely with Refurb Ops, Engineering, and Quality teams to define repair and refurbishment SOPs, train team members, and track key measures of performance that impact refurbishment quality and cost.
  • Responsible for daily oversight of labor planning, inventory accuracy, spare parts, and packaging to align refurbishment capacity with projected demand. You lead the team that builds refurbished products for our Members.
  • Support a mix of full time and contracted team members as they fulfill day to day refurbishment operations.
  • Help Peloton deliver on our sustainability objectives by reducing waste and increasing the circularity of Peloton products.

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 4+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years of managerial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline preferred
  • Knowledge of 5S, Lean methodology, and general knowledge of manufacturing
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to operate with a level of ambiguity
  • Experience working in both a warehouse environment and office environment
  • Digital literacy; Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience with hand tools and measuring devices such as torque wrenches, meters, and feeler gauges
  • You measure your impact, tracking contributions and performance as you lead a team
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the ability to manage up, down, and laterally within a matrixed organization
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A bias towards action, and exceptional follow-through
  • Build and develop teams of experts that will refurbish Peloton equipment by hiring, coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Occasional travel may be required

This position involves loading, unloading, and carrying Peloton products up to 145 lbs with assistance. Ideal candidates must be able to stand and perform physical activity for their full shift.

Base Salary: $106,500.00 to $138,500.00

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
