As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and passionate School Director to lead our team and ensure the success of our programs.

Position Overview:

The School Director will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the beauty school. This role will involve overseeing staff, addressing student requests, implementing school policies, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Staff Management: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate school staff to ensure a high standard of education and a positive work environment.
2. Student Engagement: Address student requests and concerns promptly, fostering a supportive and responsive educational atmosphere.
3. Policy Implementation: Develop and implement school policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations and compliance with regulations.
4. Financial Aid Assistance: Assist students in understanding and navigating financial aid options; ensure compliance with financial aid regulations.
5. Curriculum Oversight: Ensure the curriculum is effectively implemented and aligns with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
6. Accreditation Support: Assist with the accreditation process, including preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from accreditors and state agencies.
7. Supply Management: Order and maintain necessary supplies and equipment to support educational programs and operations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in educational management or a similar role, preferably in the beauty or vocational education sector.
3. Strong understanding of accreditation processes and state regulations.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and external stakeholders.
6. Proficient in financial aid processes and administration.
7. Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to student success.
8. Currently Licensed as a Cosmetologist, Barber, or Esthetician in California.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Experience: Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification: Cosmetology License (Preferred), Barbering License (Preferred), Esthetician License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Escondido, CA 92025 (Required)

Ability to Relocate: Escondido, CA 92025: Relocate before starting work (Required)
