JOB PURPOSEFollowing the standards of practice, provides transport for patients, equipment, supplies, and other miscellaneous materials. Performs duties aimed to enhance, the comfort and safety of our patients.All job qualifications listed indicate the minimum level necessary to perform this job proficiently:LEVEL OF EDUCATIONMinimum: High school diploma or GED.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMinimum: Current CPR certification.TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTSMinimum: Ability to utilize email, cell phones, and pagers.YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCEPreferred: One year or longer transporting patients by gurney, wheelchair or equivalent hands on experience obtained in hospital's set up patient care.
