**Aerospace Delivery Driver (Temporary)**

Morf3D is a metal additive manufacturing (AM) supplier for the aerospace industry, focused on the manufacture and certification of production flight hardware to customer requirements. Our objective is to support industry growth through the adoption of AM technology into the design lifecycle by providing development and application of AM design and material technologies.

**Position Overview**

The Driver will facilitate the safe door-to-door transport of parts and plates between Morf3D, vendors, and customers in a company assigned vehicle. This will include the secure and careful loading of the delivery truck, safe driving between stops, ensuring a proper and timely pick-up and drop-off, and applying safe techniques of moving and transferring parts and plates on pallets. While performing pick-ups and drop-offs, the Driver will inspect the conditions of the parts and plates, while also comparing part numbers with the matching numbers on the shipping papers to ensure quality requirements and on-time delivery requirements are met.

Because of Morf3Ds broad supply chain, this role interacts with many individuals across the organization and external vendors during the transportation process. Individuals in this position must remain flexible in the face of changing priorities and schedules, while supporting the safe transportation of high-value hardware. This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

**Job Duties**

* Load and unload parts weighing up to 50 lbs onto the delivery truck with the use of lifts, carts, hooks, and other tools

* Transport parts in a timely manner and obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures

* Visually inspect parts during pick-ups and drop-offs for any obvious non-conformances

* Inspect delivery trucks regularly and support both preventative and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicles

* Assist in inventory management and material handling as required

* Provide regular status reports to the Supply Chain Manager and report special events which may impact schedule or on-time delivery

**Skills**

Must be proficient and serve as an example to others at the following:

* Driving and maintaining pick-up and delivery trucks in a safe, timely, and careful manner

* Ability to use a truck bed cargo slide

* Careful handling and packaging of high-value parts

* Excellent and direct communication - both written and oral with vendors, teammates, and management

**Education / Experience/ General Requirements**

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Valid drivers license (Class A CDL) with an excellent driving record

* *Required:* Must have a minimum of three years of licensed driving experience (not including permit)

* Able to work flexible hours, according to the operations schedule

* *Preferred*: 2+ years of experience in Aerospace Shipping & Receiving/Transportation

* *Preferred:* ASCM CLTD Certification

* *Required*: Compliant with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status (ITAR defines U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident)

**Work Environment and Safety Requirements**

* Ability to move, position, lift, and stack parts weighing up to 50 pounds daily

* Ability to see details at a distance

* Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to three hours

* Ability to operate digital applications on an interface, such as a tablet or smartphone

* Ability to operate and steer lifting equipment, including forklifts and crown lifts

* Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly for up to an hour, including gloves, braces, hearing protection, eye protection, and protective footwear

* Ability to communicate with teammates and internal stakeholders with daily updates, hazard concerns, questions, and issues
